out of the 3 i would take the Honda,it will be the best built, have the strongest residuals and the main reason i bought mine,it will handle the best, not that the Kwacks a bad bike because it isnt i just find i have tons more confidence on a 600RR,although ive only ridden a 2003 model 6R, honestly though if i was going to buy a 600 next year i think it would be the R6.

I have had a 98 and 51 plate 6R and both have been very comfortable first bikes. Sat on a 2003 6R and it felt too arse in the air and uncomfortable. Too focused.
The new 6R's are much much better. Although I do have alot of respect for the Honda, it just does'nt have the soul of the Ninja. For me anyway. But its horses for courses. Just my two penneth.

I would get the Daytona 675, by far the best looking, will be nicer to ride day to day on the road due to significantly more torque. It will have much better residuals if/when you come to sell. Will be very well made. Get yourself over to the NEC bike show in a couple of weeks to check out the bikes.
There will be about 1000-1200 675 coming to the UK for next year 600 have been sold already the bike is due for delivery March-April next year.
I am bias as I have a deposit down on one...

I had a 98 6r and it was the worst bike I had. Bought it from new it suffered camchain tensioner failure and gearbox selector failure in the year and 4000 miles (I think) I had it. When it did work the handling was awful (the front end felt just horrible) and it was gutless. Obviously this has no bearing on any of the later 6rs but I thought it was sh*t.

Hmm I've just been sitting on a gorgeous '05 636R at Infinity in Farnboro'...I must admit it's a fantastic bike - nicer looking than the R6 or RR IMO. Quite an upright seating position though.
There was also a lovely RSVR....
I love the look of the 675 - I don't know how people can comment on residuals for it though as it's a new model.......:/ IMO the residuals will be worse than the Japs, they always are with Triumphs - the best case scenario would be the same.
I went down there looking for a 10R but they didn't have any

i understand where your coming from,Honda have a very clinical approach to bike design and they can sometimes feel a little bland but through the bends they tend to give you the most confidence and get you from point A to point B quickest although it maybe doesnt feel as fun, its not that i hate Kwacks i nearly bought a 10R instead of the R1 but i think now after having a few different bikes im definatly a Fireblade person,i would love a 999 but cant be bothered with an extortionate price tag and reliability issues.
