At least from the report I’ve read we’re talking injuries not worse, no idea about the specifics of this, but people are permitted to view from some incredibly dangerous spots

8 spectators injured and taken to hospital and 1 rider with leg injuries :-(

Awful
I’m afraid that is probably the end of the TT in its current format for future years.
It is being discussed in the Tynwald straight after this years event and this combined with the growing opposition will surely be the end.

No chance. There’s been a lot worse happen with marshals on a live course. Procedures / training changed for that but the TT was still the TT.

This incident was on the exit of parliament square so not super fast. Something more than a ‘normal’ crash seems likely.
