Impulse purchase Di Blasi R7
Discussion
A what? I hear you say. It's a 49cc folding "motorbike".
Saw it on FB Marketplace when idly search for tat as usual. Bought it same day.
Objectively it's rubbish, I love it.

It's slow and more expensive to insure than my Lotus Elise.
I guess I'm a biker now. (48 and riding on car licence ha ha)

Cracking purchase!! Fantastic foldability. Need pics of a human on it though.
How about a video of my first ride?https://youtube.com/shorts/c6BoDT_Nkjc?feature=sha...
A bit more info on this bike. It's a 1995 build but registered in the UK in 2010, no idea what country it lived in before but they were built in Sicily. in 31 years it has covered 241KMs, running in distance is document at 500kms! So I've drained the tank and running it on the increased 2 stroke mix for running in as detailed in the manual.
2nd thing of note, it has no indicators. SO hand signals right? Nope, as soon as you go one handed on the bars it's death wobble time. I've adopted foot signal, I hope drivers know why I'm waving my legs around on roundabouts.

Is there a handle for picking it up in its folded state?
No, originally it would have come with a bag to carry it in, but sadly that was not with the bike.

Some of them were used for a taxi service where the driver took you home in your own car and went home on the bike . Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
