Is there anyone out there who knows the where abouts of the above (unit or pre-unit) as i am gathering parts to build a triton. Box of bits or complete lump, runner or non-runner. I will be doing the trawl round jumbles over winter but if anyone can help, please do.

I've got a complete 1968 TR6 650CC trophy (Single carb) that you might be interested in. I was going to restore it, but after fifteen years, perhaps I'm never going to get round to it after all.

It was a runner, but I think I've lost the points cam I was going to fit electronic ignition as the points cams are notorious for runout on these lumps, making accurate timing a pain!

I know it'll run with an afternoon's TLC, so here's a suggestion. If you're serious, buy the ignition and we'll fire her up again so you know the lump is good. If it doesn't run, I'll buy the ignition off you.

Make me a sensible offer and I could be parted from it.

Here is a picture of it last time it was on the road, back in 1984:
