honda warranty

recently i bought a honda xadv 750

approved used 2025

i purchased from a dealer in Norwich

the bike has developed a abs fault and i took it too a local honda dealer

they then told me that they don’t accept warranty work and i have to take it to the dealer i bought it from

is this common practise

That doesn't sound right, but I'm not surprised.

I'm done with Honda now.

My local dealer is dire, and the bikes I've had in recent years aren't the Honda quality of old. (my first a CBR600FL)

Had a fault recently and they didn't want to know, and contacting Honda UK they said "if you don't like the bike, then I suggest you sell it"

Gone to the dogs.

And them cheap building the new Hornet and then denying anything was wrong with it until the sheer numbers and social media called them out until they admitted the bike was a cheap mess and stopped selling it until they fixed it. Including the thin paint !
