Does anyone know where to get one of those throtle stops that stunt guys use. Or even a proper cruise control. (and no I don't want a goldwing)

I want one because after an hour or so the fingers on right hand starts to go a bit numb. All they need is a bit of a shake, but you obviously slow down quite rapidly when you let go, especially on a motorway.

By the way anyone else suffer this or is it an age thing? (it never used to happen a few years ago)

You can get a little clip on that means you can use the back of your palm (not sure what its called, kind the ball of your palm) instead of your fingers, meaning you can stretch them out. Not sure i'd want cruise control though.

It's called a 'Throttlerocker'.

A cheap cruise control that may work is made by Vista. A quick trawl of the web should bring something up.

Put a rubber band in the crack between the twistgrip and the sort of boss bit at the inside end of it

The brake away looks nice, but it is a bit pricy.

Thanks for the link though.

Know what you mean, it took me 6 hours to get to lancaster from newbury friday night. In heavy traffic (like friday) I stop regularly enough for it not to get too bad and in open traffic I just clutch in and coast.
