I have a plate which is 2 sizes smaller and have loud pipes and a dark vsor in the summer. Never had any problems.

Personally, I think that people use small plates and loud pipes as an excuse for being pulled over for riding like a tt.

Keep it standard with none of the dealer branding or other logos etc.

[Maybe 10 or 20% smaller but don't take the piss! fancy plates will make one up any size you like.]

I've been pulled over as has a mate although this was a while ago. Not really an issue but the inconvenience associated with dorting out docs and producing them at the station is a pain.

There's a point to black visor and wear one on a regular basis but don't bother with a purely cosmetic thing like a plate.

They do look much better though.

Well, the thing is (and I know this is ghey but) my plate is R4WWR and it kinda makes more sense to me on one line. Wasn't really a problem on the car but...

Love the plate - where did you get it? The quality on mine is much cheaper looking....

I got pulled in Kent once for a Yoshi Exhaust and a small plate, I was only travelling at 30 in a 50 on a roundabout as i had already clocked the copper,

My plate is 7" square so just 1" smaller all round. No problem with the MOT this year and although a copper told me about a month ago I would need to get it changed I've heard nothing. If I do, I'll just blue tac the old one on for the trip to the local cop shop.
