Hi Guys,

Where can one view damaged/repairable bikes to buy? Just inspired by the 'trackbike' thread and wondering about buying a cheap Cat D or similar and fixing it up, either for profit or just for fun.

If you're desperate to wield some spanners you can always head over here and help me put my girlfriend's old shed back together!

Buy MCN - there are always lots of damaged repairables advertised in the back.

Tinkering for fun available over here as well matey

Back of MCN to get the places, then go and have a look

IIRC there a few in Bath/Bristol, I've only ever been to ones in London

Get on the blower to Bartons in Bath - they always have an amusing range of old sheds that need some love.

If either of you chaps need a hand, feel free to ask. God knows I call upon my friends often enough for help with bikes etc.

Malc. I've bought plenty from Bartons actually, but i'm thinking if it's worth doing up, they'll do it themselves! Kinda casually looking for something decent (ZX6R, 7R, GSXR, something fun) with cosmetic damage that I can put right with some TLC and judicious use of eBay!

Just go out and learn how to do Stoppies, Wheelies and how to back it into roundabouts...

Then with a little time you'll make your own repair project without having to shop around!

You could always buy my CBX550F2! (predecessor to the CBR)

Its not much of a looker, nor is it a raging road rocket, and need some attention. but it might be a starter project.
