An alternative is to adjust the shock mounting.
F1 international do kits for most bikes, but are quite pricy. In the case of the GSX-R750 - and all other Suzukis - adjustment is by lengthening the arms to which the lower end of the shock absorber is mounted (5mm increase in bar length = 15mm lowering of seat). I'm not sure how the Honda shock mounting works.
If that can't be done, it might be worth trying to replace the shock with something slightly shorter. I'd speak to someone like Maxtons for this.
In both cases you'll have to drop the yokes a little as well.
Another possibility that might be worth looking into: Frey Daytona make a ladies boot with a raised internal sole. It purports to give you something like an extra 1" in leg length. They might do similar in a man's boot.
