Triumph Hurricane X75

Back in the seventies and eighties, when I was a biker, I went through all of the superbikes of the day like Ducati 900SS, Kawasaki Z1, Suzuki GT750, Triumph Trident etc.

However, there was one bike that, even back then, was RARE.

It was the Triumph Hurricane X75 designed by American Craig Vetter and based on the BSA Rocket III.

I wanted one then, but could never find one.

Does anyone know where they have all gone and whether there are any for sale at the moment in the UK.

Can't say I seen any for sale recently (although there was one in MCN last year, they do pop up ocassionally)

Beware, because a number of T150's have been converted to X75's. I used to be chairman of the Nottingham TOMCC years ago, and on rallies, it was a good test to spot the genuine and the wannabe's, some of which were very close. I'm not sure I could still tell, it was over 20 years ago.

Not all that practical mind, don't forget the triples were notoriously thirsty, and you only get a very tiny tank under the fibreglass, range is going to be about 60-75 miles full to empty if I remember correctly.
