i have a squeeky real wheel and i can'tt work out what it is. does anyone know what i should be looking for cause i can't see anything stuck.

please help

Pop it up on a paddock stand and spin the wheel, should be able to trace the fault.

I had a similar problem - turned out to be the speedo drive on the front wheel. It failed soon afterwards.

Yup, could be a bearing, brake dragging, chain needs oiling...

shouldn't need oiling, only got done last week. but cheers, will get it checked out beginning of next week, as i a going away for the weekend and i need a man bout to get it up on the centre stand! weak and feeblewoman me you know!

Squeaking or squealing? Could be the brake pads dragging if it's got a rear disk.

squeking, it's not high enuf to be a squeel.

first thing i thought bout was the brakes, but i need to check them out, had a quick look this morning just to see if anything was stuck but i can't see anything.

If i can't sort myself, could be time to go and see my daddy! that's what he's there for after all and i did clean the filters on his the other week, so he owes me a favour!

Are you sure it's not the shockers ? does it only happen on the move?
If it is the rear brake , the noise should change as you apply them.

If your Dad is busy come down to St Annes for bikers meet on a Monday night, loads of helpful bikers and a cracking cafe that stays open for the duration.

can't go this week coz have made plans. but i do go nearly every week.
