What are your £p/mile costs??

Just updated my profile and it appears to be costing me about 19p/mile. Anybody getting similar figures?

About 13ppm so far, not really spent anything on the bike though, just petrol.

300 on chains
640 on tyres

About 19ppm

700 on petrol

500-700 on repairs/servicing

300 on tyres (not including the ones on it when I bought it)

140 on chain/sprockets

60 on brakepads

Working it out based on repairs @ 500 = 24ppm?

Mine includes depreciation, but I do a lot of the work on it myself.

Ah, mine doesn't include depreciation but I've done all the work myself since the 3rd service at 8000 miles.

Depreciation is 3300 and insurance is roughly 2000 which makes it 41ppm. Blimey... really glad I took the time to work all that out, thanks

It is getting cheaper over time too as I now do all the work on it myself.

Good point, depreciation I have no idea, don't care as I'm in no rush to sell.
Insurance may rock the boat slightly.

I forgot about the insurance have just added that and it has gone up to 26p/mile, although losing my no-claims in 2003 had a bad effect on that!!

New R1200GS will cost about 55p a mile overall.
SV650S cost me 40p a mile

BUT.........


Multistrada cost a whopping £1.80 a mile to run, I could have had a Gallardo or Murcielago for that.....
