which is best? CB500 or ER5???

I've been looking at CB500's and ER5's - what are people's opinions of these bikes?
Which would be the one to go for from the pair??

CB500

Better handling than the Kwacker and it's a Honda so should be reliable too. They even had there own race series...

I done my lessons on a ER5, And have had a 95 CB500 for over a year now. I think the CB500 does have the better handling of the two, and it has never let me down.

for similar money - an older cb500 would be a better bet then?

the er5 looks far better but from what i've seen the finish is crap???

CB500 is usually more expensive, do them still make the GPZ500? i think thats the better of the two

GPZ500 isn't showing on their web site but just to throw a spanner in the works, if you're buying new what about the ER6 in it's naked or faired guises ?

Having said that a second hand ZXR400 is nice

Not really the GPZ is mono shock the ER5 is twin shock i think the GPZ is more sporty too
