Stop being such a girl. I've done about 300miles over the xmas period. The day after Boxing Day was a bit sketchy (a few sideways moments) but other than that it's ok out there, if a little chilly

Similar story.

R6 '06', first bike, fully comp £1250.

Didn't think it was too bad actually, as had been quoted just under 2k for the a Kawasaki ZXR636 & Triumph 675.

£91 is impressive stuff Denny! My renewal with Carol Nash was £400 (fully comp) for the SV, the plus being I can have agreed value for the bike, when the R1 front end goes on. It seems provided I'm not interested in power hikes I can do pretty much what I want

I pay £300 TPF&T on the 748 with 1 yrs no claims and a full loss (theft) against me - pretty reasonable I thought.

Just been quoted £95.55 for TPF&T on the Firestorm. Full No claims, no convictions etc.

There are some advantages to being old !....... but not many!

Im not THAT old

Dave the bike is mint and really dont want to ruin it , although i did take it out for a little trundle and pulled a nice wheelie (but im not going to say it was through town outside the post office after some old bint shook her head because SHE thought a was going to fast , for risk of flaming)

Fully comp was £253 but i went TPF&T cos ive got to save a bit of cash this year , money saved on insurance means more to spend on fuel , just got to service the old girl (the bike) now

I just blasted mine off with a hose after each ride - all the white salty deposits (oo-er!) washed straight off.

Yes, but as I said before, you've got to be old to get that sort of price!

Don't worry too much though! The first couple of runs on your new bike will make you forget all about things like insurance. You'll just be grinning like a Cheshire Cat!

2nd bike, GSX-R600 K4 54,1 years NCB, fully comp, nice post code, £450 - and with 9 points on licence! I can't understand how you can be paying nearly double what I am - unless you are a youngster!
