Sprocket Carrier Question

Does anyone know if a GSXR600 sprocket carrier from a 2002 bike, would fit my 1999 model??

You could get an engineering shop to push out the bearing, give your ratty sprocket carrier a going over in their blasting cabinet and then pop the bearing back in?? Just a thought!

Not sure on interchangeability of sprocket carriers K2 versus SRAD - I think they are very different (like different number of studs for the sprocket).
