Isn't the System 3 made by Datatool? If it's the one I'm thinking of then it's the one with the translucent keyfobs.

Google turned up this;

www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk/shop/index.php/product/datatool/datatool_combined_alarms/02000110.html

If it is then I have one on my Aprilia. The only way to change the sensitivity is to change the angle at which it is mounted. I looked into this as mine was far too sensitive and prone to waking me up in the middle of the night.

I had a Datatool system 3 on my now nicked Gixxer6 and was a pain in the a**e too, movement sensor was far too sensitive. Being kept outside the wind used to make the blasted thing bleep like a nutter during the night when you and your neighbours were trying to sleep.
I asked the dealer to adjust it on the first service they said that it couldn't be done!
By the way the alarm didn't make any difference to it being nicked either!

Whilst it might not be as advanced I'm almost happy to return to the Evo+ on my 99 R6 since the movement sensor only sets the alarm off if you pick the bike up to move it, no peep out of it with wind movement thank goodness!

I too had a Veto Evo+ on my 2001 R6 and it was great. Those alarms used to have a seperate, external motion sensor which you would cable-clamp to the frame. Again, you would adjust the sensitivity by the angle from horizontal that you mounted them. I know as I fitted a non Cat1 datatool alarm to a friend's bike.

In contrast, the System 3 has given false alarms and every now and then will not immobilise itself.
