I've been out on my bike (and before anyone argues, I know it has a scooter engine but it looks like a bike ) for about 3 hours today. I initially just went out to get some CD's, but as soon as I got on my bike I had a huge smile on my face. My last few rides have all been cold and wet, and so not very fun. But today, the sun was out, roads were reasonably dry, so I threw all my kit on and went out for a play.

I had sooooo much fun, it was great . Throwing it around on little country lanes, getting a top speed of 36mph down a big hill , I loved it.

But as I came home and put my bike away, I couldn't help thinking, "how the f*** am I going to give this up this summer?" I really don't know, how can I sell the only thing that can make me smile and feel so good?

Well I had fun trying to get the hugger back on my bike. 217 hours later, it's on.

No, you only think you need a car. What you really need is, indeed, a bigger bike.

I really can't just have a bike. I need to get to and from school every day next year, and a bike really isn't practical enough. I can't afford to run a bike and a car (unless you all want to chip in ) so I'm having to sell my bike to buy a car

Where did you get that picture??? Now if only I could change the colour to red and pretend its my bike...

I really have to get a car, and I'll be honest, I'm not prepared to drive around in a crap car to save money, so unless I can make an extra £2000 or so (on top of the £2000 I have to make now to buy a car) I'm buggered.

Its so depressing, especially as I'll be selling my bike in the middle of the summer, best time to ride a bike...

No one HAS to have a car at your age.

If you want a motorbike, buy one. Lots of people don't get their first cars till they're in their twenties.

My Dad gave me the money for driving lessons on my 18th - I spent it on a bike...

My Mum gave me money for driving lessons on my 20th - I spent it on a newer faster bike....

Finally did my car test at 21
