Another "spin-consultation" don't suppose they even read any of the replies from Bikers. Just some gov't pencil-neck towing the party line

I will still wear a dark visor when appropriate.

Why can't some company out there design and sell a visor that can react to light, like you get with glasses. Can it be that hard to design something along these lines. This way, during the day we wouldn't have to put up with the glare? and at night, hey presto a clear visor.

Ive got the inserts that stick to the inside of your clear visor.
Better than having to carry a spare visor if your gonna be riding at night as you can take them and stuff them in your jacket.
I know you can get belts that take a visor but its a bit arse changing the visors IMO.

Must admit i thought i had seen something about them somewhere
But i think they where quite price.

I think most police riders normally use there descretion(sp) when it comes to dark visors.
I dont know anyone who has had to take theres off but have read about it.

Exactly most traffic plod have more sense, so why couldn't the nanny civil servants relax the rules so we're not forced into breaking the law?

I've got the FogCity Hyper-optiks Light Reactive Insert (retails at about £30) which is brilliant, but not too dark - it's sort of pale greeny-amber when out of the sun, changing to a dark (cobalt!) blue when in the sun.
Pro-grip also do an anti-fog, light sensitive insert which retails at about £16. These are avaiable in a range of colours. My mate has just got one of these (coz it was much cheaper than the fog-city and went from clear to dark-grey) but he's not had chance to try it yet.
