Hi all,

I've got a ....er.....KBC helmey and want to take the visor off. I;veread the instructions, and it says to fully open the visor and release the "spring" or something...anyone know where this is, cause I can't see it.

Cheers.

Take some photos of the two ends of the visor, with it fully open - should be a button or something.

Usually around the hinge areas (either side). Must be something you push or pull..which releases the visor. If you see/find something, give the visor a wiggle at the same time.

I had this problem, open the visor up fully and have a look around the mechanism. I found mine by accident, my finger caught a lever down the side of the mechanism and it popped out

Look for something plastic connected to a spring, normally a lever going round one of the sides.

Or post up a pic, that would help!

Thanks for all your replies....
I have spent hours looking at it....Visor fully open there is absolutely nothing to open/flick/pull about. I've also taken all the lining out to see if it's there, but no joy. I bet I've bought the only helmet on the planet with a fixed visor!!
I'll give KBC a phone later.

Thanks again.

Cheers all, but job "jobbed". They had instructions on their websitye...that and a bit of force, and she's off, cleaned, de-foged, and back on.

Cheers for all the advice.
