Triumph Daytona 955i question
Discussion
Had a bit of an embarrassing moment today when a friend and i were trying to jump start his Daytona 955.He first tried to bump start it but no joy, absolutely nothing in the battery.Anyway it being early this morning, and suffering from a fairly large hangover,i just connected the two ends on the car battery, not bothering to worry about putting the red cable on positive etc etc, thinking my mate would check before connecting the bike end...you can probably guess what happened next
The bike is now totally dead, but my main worry is that the ecu has been blown.I don't know what a new one would cost but it ain't gonna be cheap.Could it be just the battery that's knackered? Or will my worst fears be confirmed?
Any thoughts much appreciated

Firstly, buy a new battery and see what happens, the bike needs one anyway if the old one has fully discharged as they never come back to full health.
