Riding to work this morning I was quite happily minding my own business (and getting used to the new set of wheels!) when from out of nowhere this guy pulled up next to me on one of those micro-bike things. When he caught me "checking out" his bike, he clearly thought he'd impressed because he gave a little flick of the throttle and the chainsaw emitted an even higher pitched buzz.

I swear the wheels were about the size of a fifty pence piece and by the looks of things, the bloke was far from comfortable with his knees up around his face... However, that aside, I'm still struggling to believe that these things are actually road legal! So has anyone had dealings any colourful dealings with this circus transport that seems to be the "must have" for London chavs?

Are they the ones that operate as a drive-you-home service?

They seem to be more and more popular nowadays.

It's true, they are sometimes used by companies such as Scooter man and the like but for some godforsaken reason, people actually seem to use them to commute to work on as well! Bizarre, very bizarre...

You're probably thinking of mini bikes (mini motos and motards) there are plenty of small cc tiny bikes out there now that are perfectly road legal.
