Dropping like fly's

Don't know if any of you guy's were at Silverstone yesterday (Monday 3rd) Track day with Focus events. What a great day and very well organised. Dropping like fly's, quite a few people on the very first laps ended up on their A*SE and head first in the gravel. So just warm those tyres up before you go mach 5 with ure hair on fire. This year a group of us have got together with a van that will hold 4 bikes and all the gear, I used to ride to track days but last year we decided to do a few more and intend to do even more this year. One thing I have bought and would recomend is a set of tyre warmers makes all the difference. If not 3 laps to get them to racing temp.

I was there too. It was a great day and I agree with you about the organisation. Focussed Events are real good. Did Nogaro with them last summer and that was brill too.

But you are right - the lesson of the day was definately "warm your tyres".
