My 98 bandit starts and runs great but once the engine has warmed and the choke is off it won't tick over it gradually dies - also after a quick blast and then a stop it will cut out. It sounds like fuel starvation or dirt in carbs maybe. Any ideas ??

Has it been stood for a while with fuel in the tank? Could be the main jets are clogged up in the carbs?

Thanks for the info - I will try both suggestions. The bike has hardly been used for the last year so I suspect a carb cleaning job my be on the cards
