And very nice it was too
My bike was in for a service so I took out the 675 for a few hours to do some errands. My inexperienced impressions....
Seat height is high compared to the Sprint, bike is very thin, almost anorexic The throttle is very smooth and pulls nicely from a few thousand rpm although is does get a rush on when you get over the halfway mark on the rev counter, it gets to triple figures (kms officer) very quickly and feels great at they speeds.
The bike had the race can on and the sound at 13k is fantastic The howl from it was brilliant and just begged you to pin it then let off then pin it again
It just wants to turn in quickly in corners but with feeling so high compared to my bike I didn't feel too comfortable to push it to hard in the corners. It was feeling better the longer I spent on it but not sure I could live with a howling 600 on a day to day basis, I like my lazy torque on the bigger bike.
The girlies like it too and I'm sure I was getting chatted up in Maplins when some of the checkout girls saw it parked outside. She wasn't my type though, and I don't think my missus would approve, so I rode away.

All in, a fantastic bike but I wouldn't swap mine for it. If you are in the market for one of the Jap 600's then the 675 has to be tested

I was at a bike shop on Saturday and their 675's rear tyre was completely ragged. When I asked if they'd raced it they just said 'Milton Keynes'

Can't believe they'd got it so uniformly ragged on both sides by just riding around roundabouts, though unless they were going the wrong way around them.....

I spose if you're going straight through (i.e. 2nd left) at a roundabout you have a left hander on the entry followed by a right hander then another left hander on the exit?
