Where's the best place to sell my fireblade? I used to think bikemart but with so many options now it seems a bit expensive.

Also it's only 18 months old and I'm not used to selling anything worth more than a couple of grand privately!

Cheers

Everyone seems to use E-bay but I'm not a fan myself.
Put it on all the free online ads including piston heads - you never know just got to catch someone interested.
I suppose Bike Trader would be best.
I've never had trouble selling cheaper bikes in the past but as you say when the price is higher it narrows down the punters.
good luck
still haven't sold my Bandit?

Thanks. Does anyone know what I should expect for it? 2004, about 1000 miles (yes really!), black/red, like new, alarm etc? I want a fairly quick sale.

Ebay might get a few punters interested though unless its a niche bike it might not sell, ie its not a classic with limited supply with a bunch of rose tinted spectacle wearing punters looking to relive thier missed youf (me and LCs, or 180 Jotas). I would suggest using parkers.co.uk to get a price guide for it. note that low mileage wont give u much uplift on the book price but may help make it more attactive to buyers. If you want a quickish sale dont overprice it, private sales normaly dont get dealer prices unless u find a eager punter. Good luck

Errr. Sorry for being a dunce but I don't know off hand! It's September 2004 CBR1000RR if that helps.

There was a time when I kept up with model codes etc but I'm afraid these days I'm increasingly considering myself an ex-biker 1000 miles in 18 months indeed. Sheesh...
