Hi Has anybody used these?
Ive had mine for 20 months & their now shot. A few of my friends have also used them & had warping.
Can anyone recommend something that will last more than 2 years? as I am not going to pay another £400 for american crap. It works out to changing a front disc with every front tyre!
Cheers

Must be something wrong with them surely?! I think the OEM disks on my 7R have been on there since new and it's done 36k miles!

I have got feed back from my supplier.
Apparantly 10k is a lot of milage for discs. Ive only got a european bike as well, not one of those flash jap bikes.

10k is F**k all pisses me off when people say the Average for a bike is 3k a year and if its anymore its f**ked, dont get fobbed off and shafted demand replacement discs from the manufacture , a mate has some Galfer discs on his VFR and they have done 23k with no probs.

The mileage thing pisses me off too, people talk about my bike like i'm trashing it because its got 20k mile in 4 years mine doesn't seem to show any ill health at the moment

That's crap imo. Mine have done 26k and it's not like my commute is on the motorway and I don't use them and they are fine and will be for the foreseeable.

Are you using OE pads?

Yes they are origonal. Galfer now sell disks with pads - didnt at the time.
The origonal discs (Brembo) only lasted 12K miles. Pads hardly used.

I am now waiting for replacment wavey disks (not Galfer, but similar). I will change pads any advice or recommendations.

Going to Wales comming weekend & track day start of week so need sorting now. Thanks

Still dont think Galfer do pads for mine (has 4 small pads in each caliper)
