First commute of the year.

Its funny - I can always tell on my commute into London who rides in throughout the winter, and who is a fair weather commuter by the way in which they deal with the traffic.
Really? I find that very hard to believe, unless of course you've asked them all.
New riders are easy to spot a mile off but I seriously doubt anyone can spot a rider thats not ridden for a coulpe of months.

Rode in today for the first time this year - absolutely fantastic!
Left 20 minutes later than usual and still got to work 30 mins early and had fun doing it.![]()
The summer has arrived!

I had to use my bike a few months ago when there was snow on the ground
I know. I used to always ride come rain or shine but my new bike's in such mint condition I don't want to put it through the abuse I have with previous bikes.
Mind you, after a year of riding it I probably won't be so precious about it

THE FLIES ARE BACK. Last night's run to Boxhill and the ride to work this morning have caked the front of the Blade in an insect cemetary. F*kkers!! Plenty of Muc-off will see to that.
Nice temperature at the moment. After a couple of roundabouts last night the Diablos were like chewing gum.

I agree with dern here. There's a lot more bikes out on the roads and YES you can spot the fair weather guys, but it's good to see a lot more guys & girls out on their bikes.
