I've had Datatool Evo Plus alarms on my Ducati and my R6 and both were fine. In contrast, the System 3 alarm on my Aprilia has been problematic so I couldn't whole-heartedly recommend them.

I have a Meta alarm on my R1 which seems pretty good and doesn't flatten the battery too quickly.

Whichever you get, get a trickle charger.

I've just had a system 3 alarm put on my sv - no real comments except I think the antenna has been positioned under the rear seat. Which I then changed to a seat cowl and it's very hard to get it to turn on/off - need to stand behind the bike, or curiously in front of it, before it gets the signal now! I think it was better with the seat, but I changed it on the same day I got the alarm, so can't really say.

I'll let you know how it goes... (or more importantly, if anything goes wrong with it!)

It's a cat1 I believe, not sure about the system 21.
