Not this year.... but I have been before... the hardest partying I have ever done in my life!! spent a long weekend in Portrush with plenty of vodka & a couple of non-race entering BSB boys who led me astray lol
Oh my god... flashbacks...
You can't fail to have a wonderful time... the racing is awesome and the parties are better.

Just got back- anyone who hasn't been to the North West really should- scary but brilliant. The weather was perfect on Saturday for race day- just as well as I think it must be pretty bleak when its raining sideways as it tends to in Ireland!
I may be wrong (couldn't here the tannoy that well), but fairly sure that someone was clocked at 201.8mph, which having done a lap of the course is one of the most frightening things I can imagine! Like Le Mans, have to wait and get the DVD to know what was going on!
Had a trip to (and a pint in) Joeys Bar yesterday- another thing ticked off of the 'to do' list. The Joey Dunlop memeorial gardens and sculpture (full size of 'yer maun' on an SP-1) are worth a trip to the North in themselves. Would post pics but I'm a numbtie with computers!
To cap it all the hospitality we received form the Northern Irish was second to none- really made us feel at home and welcome.
Anyone in two minds, book up now for next year- accomodation books up early- try and get in Portrush (the track goes through there)- it's where it all goes on. Can't recommend it enough.
