Blimey! Thats so similar to the R6. I like it, interesting that they've stuck with the underseat exhaust...

Looks like a photoshop job to me......sorry

All the people in dealers I have spoke to have said that the exhaust will be a stubby side exit like the 2006 R6. Look closely at the rear can and number plate assembly, it looks like a single can so the number plate hanger would be similar to that of Honda's CBR RR bikes.

I don't like the proportions of it. It looks a bit front-heavy and wonky to me.

Without doubt its a computer generated image, however, I was informed that the R1 would be basically just a big R6 but with underseat exhaust.

The picture above does make the front look too big

Think it will be very similar to this though.

Awesome..Yamahas are pretty bikes these days..It`s identical to Rossi`s M1..just`s needs the yellow pinstripes round the wheels or a camel paintjob...

that is an obvious photochop but i hope the new R1 does end up looking similar as that will be a very pretty bike, however i dont think i would be changing my Fireblade for 1 next year, i think its a bit fickle when people change thier bike every single year due to 1 coming out that looks slightly better or 2 more bhp, i try and change mine every 3 years and even that could be said to be too soon.
