Hello all!!

My Yamaha Fazer 600S arrives next week.

After 3 years of being off the bikes I cant wait!!!!

Just wanted to know from anyone who has owned and ridden one of these what they think of them.

Also, what is a sensible running in time for a bike like that?

excellent bike, run in 500 miles as per the manual.
Loved mine, until the g'box packed in. Still, I was a hooligan.

Run it in as per manual, and ensure first service is done because the initial oil is not designed for the long term.

Mine did the same, after 25,000 hooligan miles. Yours the same? Did you manage to get it repaired under warranty? Did you manage to fix it at all?

yep, warrenty at 18 months. Yam boxes don't seem too good... traded up immediately after!
