Insurance for a newbie biker
Discussion
Evening all. As I've posted on here before, I'm the proud (and frustrated, since I can't ride it) owner of a 2002 Kawasaki ZX6-R. I begin my DAS training this Saturday, with my test on Thursday 22nd of June. Does anybody know any sympathetic insurance companies. I'm only 21, and have a no-fault accident and 3 points for speeding. I'm struggling to get quotes of less than £1200. Any help appreciated!
Hi - try www.thebikeinsurer.co.uk who search at least 10 sites to get the best price.

I found Hastings were best for my first supersport. Carole Nash still return some pretty good prices, though.
Insurance companies are fickle things - whilst many people have raved about Norwich Union I've only received comical prices for car and bike.

I thought you needed to have your licence for more than a year with Hastings??
I might be wrong....

I'd probably had my licence about 18 months before I insured myself with Hastings. Can't remember any minimum license period but then that wouldn't have been an issue for me.
