On a similar note i sold my Gixxer 1100 as the gearbox was blown for a year with the intention of not riding for a while.
Anyway bought a little GPZ just to keep my no claims.
4 weeks later.. Still got the GPZ and now a Tl1000 too.

I think you forget how good riding is.. That is until you get back on the bike..
