Not for me. Well, not yet

Took a mate to Croft yesterday. Was his first time on track ever so was in the Novice group.

Anyway, at lunch time, instructors came over to say he was way too quick for the group & needed to be moved. Got taking to them about it being his first time, blah, blah & they said he was easily good enough to go in advanced group & whether he'd ever considered racing.

What would be the next step if he wanted to ?

I assume a race licence is required. How is this gained ?

What series's are around that could be entered (cheapish) ?

What are, financialy, we talking about for a season ?

Oh no, believe me. As much as I'd love to be that good I suspect its a far way off

The guy in question is an employee of mine. Late 30's. NO FEAR.

I'd love to see what he could do as he is really good.

A quick browse shows that its too late for anything this year & so somthing to consider over winter.
