Oh god here we go again
Discussion
i got my bike back on the road last week, after it being off the road for 3 and half months. Found out the reason it wouldn't start was a load of sh*t in the carburetta (or however you spell it), now it won't idle when in gear (or sometimes neutral as well), so i have to keep it revvin at junctions, traffic lights, etc.
Is there anything i can do to sort this out without havin to pay another man a lot of money to do it for me? When i first got it, my dealer turned the idle point down to 1500rpm (before it was about 2400rpm) and it cut out a few times
any advice would be greatly appreciated
cheers shell
p.s. if u need 2 know, its a Suzuki GS 125

It's probably got more dirt in the carb again. It would be worth stripping and cleaning it. Soak everything in petrol for a while then blow everything out with an airline if you have one (or just blow really hard). Put it all back together and fit a new fuel filter. Make sure you set the airscrew back how you found it.
It sounds complicated but it really isn't. You might find that the mechanic you took it to did nothing more than drain the fuel out of the float bowl in the hope that any dirt would be washed away, I've known worse.

There could be more muck in the float bowl now. Best to drain the carb (it's a single screw at the bottom of the float bowl) and replace the fuel filter/add an inline one.
If that doesn't fix it then wind the idle mixture screw out a quarter of a turn at a time until she idles cleanly. they're usually between one and two turns out from the gently closed position. NEVER do the mixture screw up tight.

Sounds entirely possible to me that that, or something similarly incomplete, is what happened, and you've still got some crap in the idle jet.
Had exactly the same simptoms with my ZXR400 a while back.
Stripped all 4 carbs down cleaned them out with carb cleaner, also dicovered that a washer had shrunk / perished.
Anyway stripping the carb is not so bad to do, just make sure that any screw you undo you very carefully make a note of exactly how mant turns it took to undo it so you can put it back exactly. Clean it all so it is spotless and make sure you squirt / clear any little holes or 'tunnels' that air or fuel goes along. Then as has been said replace the fuel filter.
