BOTH of Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne’s Rizla Suzuki GSX-R1000K6 race bikes were stolen last night from a locked garage at the Croft circuit in North Yorkshire. Rizla Suzuki is offering a £10,000 reward for their safe return.

Wnakers.....What the hell are they gonna do with them? Surely even if they were stripped down (therefore defeating the object) people would still realise they're a bit special??

Bike / Car theft really p*sses me off... in fact any theft of personal property...


I would think it unlikely they are seen again though

They're probably already in europe by now.

This little episode doesn't really say much for Croft Circuits security, does it?

Also lets hope Rizla Suzuki put their bikes back in transporters from now on where hopefully they should be more secure

Think about it....you could walk into any circuit in this country at any time of night and fill your boots. They're all wide open.

I walked in & out of Silverstone at all hours of the day & night during the Britcar 24 hours last year and was never asked to show a ticket

The team bear ultimate responsibility for their equipment, not the circuits.
