My brother picked up his new (2nd hand) SV650 today[1], and it has been fitted with a datatool system 3 alarm, but the knock/wobble sensor has been setup too sensitive and as a result he's had to disable it.

Anyone got any idea as how to alter the sensitivity? The manual is sod all use

[1] Black SV650S, 1700 miles 9 months old, progressive springs & new oil on the to sort out the front, and an ohlins shock on the rear, £3500; bit of a bargin.

Don't know on the 3 but my Duke has a datatool 2 and IIRC it can only be enabled/disabled by programming.
But altering the angle of the tilt sensor has a great effect on the sensitivity - as an example mine is set so that when on the sidestand it is ultra-sensitive but when on the paddock stand (ie vertical) it is not very sensitive, this suits me as it is only on paddock stand in garage which is alarmed and otherwise well protected.

Hope this is some help to you.

edited to say sounds like a bargain
