Its gone in for its big one today and I've no idea how much its going to cost. Any clues? Gixer 600 K3.

It depends on what they want to fleece you for? are they balancing the injectors? doing the valve timing? changing tyres? etc.....if not probably looking at around £250 - £300.

The big service would include valve clearances, so quite a few hours of labour involved.

That'd kind of take the excitement out of it.

£510 in the end including the service, pads, discs and braided hoses.

Agreed - I'd be expecting ~£300 just on the service.

Discs aren't cheap and neither is the labour to get to the shims... blimey though.

Must last service was a small one, oil change etc and i needed new pads on the front and that was £200.

My local dealer did the valve's on my 6R for £250 including the MOT

Well, just took it out for its first ride since the service and brakes and bugger me with chihuahua, its like a new bike! And it now also stops, which is nice.
