Some of that riding was a bit ragged, not quite up to Ghostrider standards. Still seemed to be enjoying themselves though.

I've just got back from two weeks on Corfu. It's a real shock to see how people can live so freely. I saw very few people wearing helmets and you can forget about leathers. The whole attitude seems to be to live life to the full and not worry about unimportant details such as traffic regulations.

I wish we had their way of life: Whole extended families eating in restaurants together. Men who aren't afraid to be men and women who aren't afraid to be women. Wonderful food. Fantastic weather. Respect for their elders. Pride in their nation.

Have I got this all wrong? Sorry, just feeling a bit low after three days back in the Chavland called Leicester.

Spot on... With exception of maybe the leathers - shame to miss out on the lifestyle by kicking the bucket in a bad crash, kind of takes the edge off it
