Yeah, big motorcycle website - I run it. Don't worry, I'm not here trying to steal members, what would I get, maybe 5 people sign up or something? I'm a fan of PH, was at Le Mans this year, I'm in touch with Dave who runs this place. I used to write for PB and Road Test for RiDE, I've got a lot of biking knowledge - look at my posts, I'm helping people out. Nuff said really.

No Probs. You are more than welcome. And I've already signed up on Visordown. Not really a prolific poster over there, though.
Yes, perhaps I should have chosen another name, one that's more apt like "HedgeSeeker" but I find it's best to declare who you are from the off. PH is pretty amazing, Dave's done a great job with it.
I see hobo is posting on every thread to remove my 'last reply'. Each to their own!
The Biker forum here seems cool, but if I had a £40k Porsche (or a TVR like most of you seem to..) I know I'd find little time to get out on the bike.
I've owned a shit-load of bikes, ridden pretty much every bike from 2003 onwards and written off more than I care to think about. Had a mega smash in 2004, tore my liver, lung, kidney and all that. Took a few months off biking, took up skydiving instead, then was fit enough to ride bikes so worked on RiDE (no free pipe.. or slippers). Currently ride a TL1000s.

Just had a quick look, but the "quality" of some of the posting there is a bit offputting:

ts I am about to rant about
any one who is too inconsiderate and brings their little bags of stink sick and shit on the planes can
right off. Kids of that age should not fly, dont give me shit of "well what else aer we supposed to do" because this is a great country that is ideal for family holidays
I doubt much of that will get through PH's censorship. I guess I'm maybe thirty years too old for that site.

VM - yes it's a little free-flowing, call it what you will. Not for everyone, for sure.
If you want some alternative reading, you could read this instead, an account of one of my accidents:

Enjoy.

Conversely, if the weather is nice then I always choose the bike. I find driving a car on busy UK roads too frustrating.

Nicely written piece. Been there - not quite death's door, but seven hours surgery - and you took me right back. If you want some alternative reading, you could read this instead, an account of one of my accidents:

For completely different styles, compare cycling plus to visordown - a thread on visordown today was crossposted to cycling plus regarding cycle commuters and why they can be annoying. Its basically the same moans that the cycling plus lot make about red light jumpers and that kind of stuff, but suddenly they take offence when the bikers moan about it while trying to maintain their jolly nice and intellectual behaviour rather than saying as it is. Top fun.
