Pick the collective brain...
I need to get the Daytona up to the dealer to get an electrical fault sorted - thing wont go at all! Dealer has 'offered' to come and pick bike up at a cost of about 100 quid! 40 miles to my house, 40 miles back - quid a mile plus VAT.
Now that to me sounds expensive, but may not be. I'm going to explore the insurance route, I have breakdown, and going to see if they will recover the bike to the dealer, but does anyone know of any companies etc that will shift bikes for less than 100 quid??
Any advice would be much welcomed... By my wallet!!!!

No AA or RAC membership which covers you at home, surely this is a breakdown situation? Mine would certainly recover my bike with any problem similar to yours to a dealer or other garage. My AA membership is about 130 a year for this priviledge and covers all my vehicles.
