I'm very fortunate to own the only two bikes I ever really wanted, but out of curiosity I would like to try / have another go on the following: (in no particular order)

1. Vincent Rapid C, a friend of mine tours around Europe on one, I clocked him at 106mph with a pillion in France
2. Dresda Triton, skinny tires, megaphones on the exhaust, take it to the Ace Cafe then set of every speed camera on the North Circular
3. Harley Fat boy, (but only in America) I will do a tour across the States one day.
4. Honda RC 45, I have a 30 but have never tried the 45 (just curious I guess)
5. Ducati 996R, last super trick incarnation of the 916, so just how much better than my humble Duke are they? I just don't like the newer ones
6. LC 350, just for old times sake.
7. Honda Pan European, another friend rode to every European round of the world superbike series on one of these, staggering milage in one year.
8. Suzuki Hyabusa (tuned) 200mph has a certain appeal.
9. Voxon cafe racer, I saw one of these in a shop in Toulon a few years ago, wouldn't expect it to be amazing but it did look different
10. GPZ 900, still sound great

nice flexible definition of 'road bike' you have there, rc211v and m1 , the desmosedici is going to be a road one though i think

if we're going that route i want doohan's evil nsr500 and foggy's 916/996/998 whatever

i know its been said but-Desmodici RR, i think V4s are great and thats probably the best ever made.

Honda RC45
Honda RC30
Yamaha R7-always appealed and looks great
Ducati 999-was most impressed by the 749 and would love to have a go on its big brother
MV F4 1000-nearly bought one once but my head talked me into an R1
the new R6-looks really cool and would love to see what its like
