I set the alarm this morning and watched in awe, what an amazing event, what a race, what a nailbiting finish.

Gobsmacked is an understatement. Chuffed for Chris Vermeulen and the Suzuki team, Marco's last corner was a totally awesome way to finish, what a rider and then Vale passing poor Sete on the exit of the last corner ........

Anyone betting against Vale for another title?

Wasn't it a great race?

Couldn't believe it's taken this long for the weather to change in a race so that they change bikes... bedlam. Hayden nearly took out someone on his way out but the change in the weather saved his bacon a bit in terms of the points he could have lost. The last corner was amazing, I really didn't think Rossi would have the grip to take Sete even though Gib's tyres were shot, bit handy to stick him between himself and Haydon... very clever.

Don't normally watch Superbikes but I read in the news that Biaggi has signed up for next season which should be very interesting as he's one of my favourite riders. No idea how he'll take to it though.

Regards,

Mark

Quality race. I thought Valli was gonna walk it...He went past about 4 ghuys on one lap early on, then seemed to lose it a bit, before making a final charge...Wonder if he's always pushing or whether he takes it easy now and then to see what's happening, or give the tyres a break?

Cracking race though.

He saves his tyres. The last race was won just before the end - he sits behind the lead rider, psyches them out and makes them trash they're tyres and then rides all over them on the last lap.

I felt sorry for Nakano ..he was going so well....
Marco Melandri was the man on the last lap...smokin the tyre waving to the crowd....Class!

Gutted for Nakano and Kawasaki. He really looked like winning it if it stayed dry.

Shame his wet pace wasn't up to snuff.

A win would have been a massive upset and it wouldn't have meant more to any other team or rider in the sport.

and yeah I'm a kawasaki fan!

ps Nakano's lid is still a stroke of genius!

Absolute quality wasn't it...... Fancy having that much control, and being "at one" with your bike...Very impressive.
