Jelly on a plate

O fount of all knowledge that is PH...
Went for a small ride last night, and repeated in daylight, as I was unsure of the cause.
Basic problem is that the bike has developed a tendency to wibble, and indeed, wobble. Just a tiny bit, but enough to worry me.
Its at low speeds, seems to be more noticeable under acceleration. Have checked tyre pressures, chain tension, and the tightness of the rear wheel nuts, but all seem fine. The only visual clue is that the rear is due for a change quite soon, and seems to be squaring off at an accelerating pace. Would this be enough to cause the wibble, or am I being paranoid?
Cheers in advance
