EEK! Bike wouldn't start this morning
Discussion
Phew,
I was nearly late for work!!! Dragged my 600RR out of the garage and cranked her over. Not a murmur. Did it again and got a cough or two. Let the panic subside a bit and cracked the throttle open. A few splutters then nothing again. Noticed the Fuel injection icon on the dash panel was illuminated. Shut it down again, cycled the ignition and gave it a good hanful of throttle and hit the starter. After 3 or 4 seconds she spluttered into life, but was very lumpy for a moment or two.
Now then, on Friday night I got soaked in a torrential downpour, got home and immediately washed the bike coz she was plastered, and then gave her a good dose of GT85, and put her away. I think the damp got to her. What do you think?
On another note, I bit the bullet and bought a new lid to replace my two month old Schwantz Replica Arai Astro R, which I used to get buffeted to death in. It was just slightly to big. I picked up an Arai Hayden Replica RX7 Corsair, and the difference is phenomenal. Less wind noise and much less buffet. Didn't go for the £90 tinted visor mind...
Cheers

To fleaBay with you!
Ebay not necessarily required try here:

Also I've bought all my dark tint and irridium visors in Europe, remember this next time you're in France or elsewhere you can pick up all the genuine visors at proper prices perfectly legally. Can even do it on a booze cruise in calais if taking the car there are a couple of dealers dotted around. Just make sure you know the exact visor type and can ask in French for it!
Julian your problem sounds just like one I used to have with quality italian engineering by Aprilia. My old Falco would give me gip starting the next morning when I cleaned it and put it away overnight.
My current R6 is excellent, I just left it over two weeks outside while I was away on holiday it fired up first time almost as if I'd ridden it the previous day like usual.
