Hello, I have joined PH as my neighbour/biking buddy is on here and he talks about the forum on occasion (good things). I am in the porocess of selling my 2004 RSV Factory to fund a track day bike and my migration to the new Factory Tuono.

I am looking at spending up to £3,500 for the donner bike and was looking at the CBR600RR. I have track dayed my Factory a couple of times and love it to bits but am worried about pushing it that little bit extra due to the high cost of and issues with sourcing parts.

What do you think? Heres a photo of my current baby.

Yes do it ...

A 600 is a good track day bike -- nearly as quick as any 1000 at most tracks with a respectable pilot etc.

Check the motoforum chat site for ex-race bikes for sale, usually well sorted and can be had for a decent price .. buyer beware etc.. www.motoforum.net/

I was offered a 2001 R1 this morning which I'm going to look at on Friday. They also have an Ex Demo Tuono up for grabs so I might be able to do a deal for the both of them. BRING IT ON!!! beer

Welcome to the madhouse. Now that Factory is a proper bike. I'd buy it myself except I already have one Mille I can't sell!

Thanks rsvmilly. I'll be sad to see hear go. She's been a faithfull reliable girl and we have had some great times. With 16,000 Touring / weekend miles in two years we got to know each other pretty well.

R6`s are spanking some fine machinery at track days this year...clap
Still love the `oomph` from a big litre bike though...
