Anyone got a pager connected to their alarm? Ebay is awash with cheap Chinese stuff, even the supposedly respectable TOAD unit is badged 'Hwan Sun' or similar 
I was in the pub with the bro's the other night and even though it was quiet, there was no way I'd have heard the sparkly new 'Brand X' alarm that I'd installed on Saturday.
To be fair, for less than I paid for this 'Not just an alarm, this is an M&S alarm'
I could have bought an all-singing and dancing thing with microwave radar, remote start, hazard lights function AND paging, but this one at least has been Thatcham certified even if I can't issue myself a fitting cert. (it is a proper job, trust me! Ten bloody hours 
damn Jap fasteners...)
So anyway, pagers...

I don't bother with all that. Only reason I have an alarm on the Factory is because I had for insurance otherwise I wouldn't bother. Buggers are going to steel it regardless!!!! I don't have one on my XT660X but when I do park it in the street, which is not often as I park in the basement of my building where it's safe from prying eyes and scooter bandits, I chain the hell ot of it!!!
