Should I chop it?
Discussion
The wife isn't comfy on the back of the ZZR either so I want to get something I would enjoy a bit more. I'd also like something new. I should be able to get a good deal right about now.
The short list is:
2006 GSXR 750
2006 R6
2006 ZX6R
But these don't look good for pillion
2007 GSXR 750
2007 R6
What do you think?

No help really, but my bro has a BMW R1100RS (I think)... his wife seems happy enough on the pillion but for me it was a trial. Knees in armpits, head shaking like something from a 70s horror film... I guess only your woman will be able to decide what's comfy for her!
If you want proper armchair comfort it'll have to be an STX1300, Goldwing...

I have a 2006 r6 which i couldnt recommend more. Its truly awesome, the right blend of power and light weight makes it ideal for fast road imho.
Ive had to change the standard crap tyres to michelin 2ct the dual compound jobbies which make the bike feel lots better and ive had to fit a steering damper to stop the bars shaking - but i live in a fairly rural area which has lots of b roads hence the upgrades and i do get carried away some days....
I wouldnt argue for its comfort tho - especially coming from a zzr!

She has her own bike a ZX6R. We got the ZZR because I wanted a bigger bike (as I'm 6'5"
and I wanted to compromise a little in terms of comfort for her. But as it turns out it is comfortable for me but not really for her. She has ridden it but it is a little big for her.
So today we went to the local dealer to size up a few bikes.
The GSXR 750 is the most comfortable for her seat hight wise, pillion not too bad.
The R6 is ok seat hight wise, pillion again not too bad.
The ZX6R (636) both seat height and pillion are good, but I kind of wanted a change from a Kwack.
So there needs a bit to be a bit more thinking done. Also didn't like what the dealer was offering for the ZZR, so might have to sell it privately.
