Got to the office to find my rucksack open. A few things have gone including a large red tub of Brylcream....Now that would be dngerous hitting your windscreen at speed....unless of course someone knicked it whilst I was filling up/at traffic lights, but I doubt it.

I once left a mates house with a full sized motocross lid on the pillion - it wasn't there when I got home! I kept a close eye on the news that week paperbag

MInd you I've done silly things like that to except I left my keys in my bike with the alarm fob attached. Didn't realise until I went to find them to go home.

Have left the keys a number of times in the lock that undid the pillion seat on the Tuono, only found out when going home.

Best one was last week when I went to Homebase, loaded down with bags, managed to get keys to the car out of the jeans without dropping anything. The key has a button that opens the boot, v useful when arms are full. Chucked bags etc in the boot along with the keys and closed boot lid, doh!!!!.irked

Had to phone the other half to bring the spare set.paperbag

I left my ZX7R sat in a Salisbury side street for 3 hours unlocked. With the keys in the ignition. Oops.

You would have been lying like a cheap rug to the insurers on that one.

Indeed. Luckily, it came with 2 x original Kwak keys, plus one copy - so I use the copy, just in case the above should happen

my rucksack came open the other (during a bit of high speed cruising),all of a sudden it felt like someone was trying to rip me off the back for a few seconds then stopped.it was my sweatshirt acting as a parachute flailing around in the air stream till it flew out, just hope it didn't land on someones windscreen.
the worst thing i've ever lost off a bike was 1/2 my exhaust(can and link pipe)in rush hour on the A1.came as a bit of a suprise when all of a sudden a gpz sounded like a motogp bike!

Yep,

been there, done that, got the t-shirt (well at least I did have it till it blew away...)

lost my gloves, lunchbox and christ knows what else the other day. Then got back to the bike at Didcot rail station to find I'd left the bike keys in the office...in London...

Quite a day!

I left my rd350 outside a cinema for 3 hours with the keys in the ignition a few years back.

I also managed to lock my blade ignition keys in the cubby hole under the seat resulting in my wife having to drive some 60 miles with the spare set... how we laughed.

Ah, just remembered... I tried to transport 5 litres of oil home on the pillion seat held on only by a bungee net. It fell off at about 50mph and fortunately skidded to a stop without splitting or being run over.

Daftest thing I ever did was buy some beers and put them on the roof of the car as I unlocked the door. You know what's coming.....

Got to my destination and 'where the hell did I put those beers?'

Lost my left wing mirror from whilst doing 100+ units in the outside lane. Tried to look behind to see if there was anything following close behind but struggled to do a proper check due to lack of mirror...headache
