Ok, so I saw a Shoei helmet that a) I liked, and b) actually fitted properly, but either wanted to wait to see what else was on offer, or couldn't be bothered to go back, and now I realise what a good deal it was. £225 for the diabolic 2.
Can't find anyone near this.....any thoughts??

Cheers.

Cheapest one I could find mate. I would go with the Shoei, Rach loves hers and prefers it over her Arai RX7R. My next helmet will more than likely be a Shoei.

DON'T GET THAT HELMET!!!

It's mine! You can see it in my profile pic. I paid £240 at the BMF tailender last year, I imagine it'll be around the price you saw at the Ally Pally show in January if you can wait that long.

Cheers mate! I've managed to contact the NEC stand, and they're gonna see if they've still got one.
What do you think of the helmet....Any good?

Big thumbs up from me
The little spoiler thing on the back will piss off a tall pillion mind, and I can never remember what way to switch the front vent to have it open, but they're not reasons not to buy it! It took a few rides for it to bed in and fit really comfily.

As a dark visor, I bought the dark pinlock insert so I could easily take it off if I got stopped. It works well most of the time, but riding into the sun you still get the reflections of your face in the visor around the edges. It's not the quietest apparently (I haven't ridden with many helmets), but you can get whisper kits.

I just tried a load on and found the Shoei one fit really well. My current KBC lets an absolute gale in and is rather noisey. I'd just try a load on as I guess they're all gonna fit differently.

Thanks fcuk its not just me. actually to be more critical of the helmet one reason I am not sure the vent is open is becasue I feel no difference although must work because i was comfortable in high temps with it.

Also pin lock. I had an early helmet and when lent over the tank the top of the anti fog insert was right in my eyeline. Pissed me off so took it out. I have heard they revised this though.
